Mark Mockett, Executive Director
Mark has been a film maker since his teenage years. He gained experience from being a picture editor with the BBC in London and Washington DC. Now as an independent filmmaker in Los Angeles he has won multipe festival awards for his film projects. As an autism parent he has seen his son struggle to gain recognition as a filmmaker and decided to level the playing field for people with disabilities by creating the Unique Perspectives Film Festival.

Julie has worked in the film and television industry for the last 20 years. She and her husband, Mark, have produced documentaries of the saving of the USS Iowa, America's last battleship. She's been an executive assistant at The Walt Disney Company for 20 years. She's also the mother of two children, Hunter and Tim, who is Autistic. Julie and Mark have supported their children in achieving their artistic goals. Since her youth when her mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, through to when her son was diagnosed with MPPH and Autism, she has been a tireless advocate for people with disabilities.
